Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on the SFCSS Alumni Marketplace. Since the Marketplace connects alumni buyers and vendors, refund processes involve both the vendor and our platform.

2. Product Returns

2.1 Eligibility

• You may request a return within 7 days of receiving the product.
• The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition you received it.
• Digital products and downloaded files are non-refundable once delivered.

2.2 Process

1. Contact the vendor through the order detail page explaining the issue.
2. The vendor will respond within 48 hours with return instructions if applicable.
3. Ship the item back at your cost (unless the item was defective or incorrect).
4. Refund will be processed within 5–10 business days of the vendor receiving the returned product.

2.3 Non-Returnable Items

• Perishable goods (food, flowers, etc.)
• Personalised or custom-made items
• Digital products once downloaded
• Items marked as "final sale"

3. Service Booking Cancellations

3.1 Before Confirmation

You may cancel a pending booking at any time for a full refund.

3.2 After Confirmation

• More than 24 hours before the appointment: Full refund.
• Less than 24 hours before the appointment: At the vendor's discretion. The vendor may offer a partial refund or rescheduling.

3.3 No-Shows

If you fail to attend a confirmed booking without prior cancellation, no refund will be issued.

4. Vendor-Initiated Cancellations

If a vendor cancels an order or booking, you will receive a full refund automatically within 3–5 business days.

5. Disputes

If you and the vendor cannot reach agreement, you may open a dispute through your order or booking detail page. Our team will review the case and make a decision within 7 business days.

6. Refund Methods

Refunds are processed via the original payment method. Bank transfer refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear in your account.
